Willow Wood Community Primary School is situated on the northern outskirts of Sunderland overlooking rural countryside. It is a co-educational primary day school for children of all abilities from 3-11 years of age. The school is not affiliated to any particular religious denomination.
The school holds the National Healthy School Status, Gold Smoke Free School Award, Financial Management Standard in Schools (FMSiS) and the Active Mark.

We host a free breakfast club.
Willow Wood Breakfast club runs each morning for all children in school. Breakfast club starts at 8am and is supervised by our HLTAs every morning to make the children their breakfast and supervise them whilst they have time to socialise with their friends on the yard; however, if it is raining outside the children are able to enjoy fun and games inside.
